Time to get Stoned

Pteronarcys californica aka Salmonfly

Lately I've been getting trout to grab big stonefly nymph patterns.  It is a nice change of pace compared to size 18-24 bwo and midge patterns from the early season.  Hopefully I get a chance to fish the salmonfly hatch if time and river flows cooperate.
